Several research groups are located at the School of Theology and Religious Studies.
Research Group for the History of Church and Religion in Estonia unites all the Estonian scholars who study the history of Christianity in Estonia. The group uses various research methods based on historical church studies and the history of ideas, as well as sociological approaches. See more…

Arthur Vööbus Centre of Near Eastern Studies is a recently founded research centre, which tries to foster interest in Oriental Christianity, Early Christianity, patristics, and the textual history of the Bible by organising courses, seminars and other academic activities related to the research of Arthur Vööbus.
